Our Vision and Mission

My name is Ed Hahn, the owner of USA Dryer Vent LLC, a local and veteran owned company. With more and more homes being built with the dryers further away from the outside walls of a home, the dryer exhaust vent system is extending further out than most dryer manufacturers' specifications allow. So the need to clean the dryer exhaust vent system regularly to prevent fires and dryer failures is critical. Our dryer exhaust vent system cleaning not only helps to reduce the risk of an unnecessary dryer fire, but it can also save you money in making your dryer more energy efficient in its drying time. It may also help extend the life of the dryer because it is more efficient at removing the moisture, heat, and lint from the dryer exhaust system.

An Evaluation of Your Entire Dryer Vent System

Our dryer vent cleaning will include an evaluation of your entire dryer vent system, including the dryer, the transition hose, the ductwork going to the outside, and the terminal vent cover. We will get an anemometer reading of your current airflow through the ductwork before cleaning and then after the cleaning to show the airflow improvement after cleaning. We will slide your dryer out, remove the transition hose, and clean both the dryer and the transition hose with a lint brush and vacuum. We will then attach a y-connector to the transition hose and wall/floor ductwork and use the rotary brush and a high powered vacuum at the same time. It will eliminate a mess of lint on the floor from the ductwork within the home's construction.

Keeping You Safe From a Preventable Fire

Once completed, we put everything back in its proper order, cleaning as we go. We also can go from the terminal vent cover from the outside of the home using a rotary brush. As a certified dryer exhaust technician, I aim to both meet and/or exceed the current building codes for dryer exhaust systems, keeping your family, property, and investments safe from a preventable fire.
